One of the primary considerations any customer has when signing up with a sports betting provider is the ability to enjoy the benefits of a generous welcome bonus. We’re delighted to say that if you decide to sign up with Bwin, then you can be signed up quickly and be eligible for the offer in around five minutes!
Best of all, there is no bonus code required to activate the bonus, you can simply sign up with the site, deposit and bet just £5 to get £20 in free bets! You read that right! Bwin will quadruple the value of your first bet of £5 (provided it meets qualification odds of 1/2 or greater) and you will get £20 worth of free bets!
But remember to be quick, you’ll have just seven days from receipt of your £20 worth of free bets to use them up at Bwin and the usual FreeBet rules apply! It is quick, easy and very good value for any customer considering a low deposit, but good value welcome offer and you can find out all the key details about the welcome bonus by reading our Bwin Bonus Review.
Take advantage of Bwin Promotions
Now that you know you can claim a great value welcome bonus at Bwin, it is time to take a look at some of the other offers available on the site. We have to admit, there are not a great deal of options for sports bettors. There are more options for Poker and Casino gaming fans, which includes an intriguing free-to-play option you can access daily.
However, for sports punters, Bwin’s only other offer we found when reviewing the site was an acca boost bonus, albeit a generous one! To keep abreast of all the latest bonuses and other promotions available at Bwin, check out our Bwin Promo Review section for more information on the key bonuses available with this provider.
Is Bwin a bookmaker for you?
Bwin certainly has a very tempting welcome offer, but beyond that, is Bwin a bookmaker that you are going to get excellent long-term value and enjoyment from? Furthermore, is the site aimed more at beginners or more experienced punters?
Having thoroughly reviewed the site, the Wincomparator team all agreed that regardless of your level of experience, you can find something to enjoy at Bwin over both the short and long term.
If you are relatively new to sports betting, there is an extensive Help section on the site to help answer any queries you may have. Accessing the Welcome Offer is easy, as is registering as a new customer and making your first deposit. Combine that with a user-friendly site or mobile app and a wide choice of markets, Bwin is a genuine option for beginners.
More experienced users will also enjoy the breadth of markets available, particularly for its football and tennis betting services, as well as high maximum win limits of either £100,000 or £250,000, depending on markets. So whether you are a novice or a high roller, you’ll find Bwin has something to offer you.
Bwin Registration: How do I create an account?
How easy is it to sign up with Bwin? Well, we have done precisely that as part of our review and we can report that signing up was a very quick and painless process! All you need to sign up is a few personal details, an email address, mobile phone or home phone number and a smartphone or computer to sign up, either via the website or the Bwin app.
Registering is a simple process and remember you do not need any bonus code to access the Bwin welcome offer! Outlined below is the process you need to follow to sign up at Bwin (further details about each step is included below this list).
- Go to Bwin. To sign up, you need to head to the official Bwin site. Click on this 100% secure and verified link here to be taken there.
- Click on Register. Once the site has loaded up, you will see a yellow button at the top of the screen labelled Register. Click on this and the Registration section will load up.
- Complete the 7-step Registration Process. Bwin has seven steps for its registration process, but each step requires just one or two pieces of information. Fill in the details on each of the seven steps to complete the registration form. After completing the seventh step, click the button to register with the site.
- Check & Verify Your New Account. All being well, your new Bwin account should be open. At this point, you may need to complete verification if your identity has not been verified automatically when registering on the site. Once you have completed verification, your account will be fully accessible, and you can deposit and claim your Welcome Bonus with no bonus code required!
As you can see, the whole process can be completed very quickly - we managed to open our new account in just five minutes! However, if you feel like you need more information about each step, read the more detailed information in the sections below. However, click here if you want to skip this section and move to the next part of the review.
1. Go to Bwin
You don’t want to start your journey at the wrong site, or a fake site. So to begin with, we need to make sure you access the official, secure and licensed Bwin site. The easiest and most secure way to do this is to click on this direct link to Bwin. We always double- and triple-check our links to ensure they are safe, secure, and access the correct official site.
2. Click on Register
If you have clicked on the link above, you will now find that you have loaded up the official Bwin website. So, as a prospective new customer, what do you do now? The answer is to click on the big yellow button at the top of the screen labelled “Register”. You can see this box in our screenshot of the main Bwin home page below.
Once you have clicked on the button, the registration section will load up on screen.
3. Complete the 7-Step Registration Process
Assuming you managed to complete the first two steps correctly, you should now be looking at the first of seven sections that comprise the Bwin registration process.
Now it is time to complete each of the seven sections. However, before you do, please be aware that entering inaccurate information during this process could result in your account registration failing, or prevent you from verifying your identity, which will prevent you from accessing the site.
Wincomparator suggests that you ensure all the information you enter is double-checked and 100% accurate. As such, it is worthwhile reading through each of the seven sections in detail before adding any of your information.
Let’s now take a closer look at the seven-step process to complete registration at Bwin.
Registration Page 1 - Country of Residence & Email
The initial section of the Registration form requires just two pieces of key information.
The first of these is your country of residence. This will likely be detected by Bwin’s Geo-Locator, based on your IP address. However, if for some reason this option is incorrect, or blank, you can use the drop-down menu to select your country of residence from the list.
After this, you are required to enter your email address. Be sure to enter an email address you can access to receive any communications from the site and to ensure you can complete processes like changing your password if you have forgotten it. Once completed, click the Continue button.
Registration Page 2 - Account Password
There’s just one piece of information required on the second registration page and that is your password for the site. Remember to use a strong and unique password to ensure your account is as secure as possible. You will need this password each time you log in to Bwin, so do remember it, or ensure it is saved in your Password Manager or similar software for ease of access.
Once completed, click the Next button.
Registration Page 3 - Full Name
In this section, you simply need to enter your chosen prefix (Mr, Mrs, Miss, etc.), your first name and your last name. It is important to ensure you spell your first and last name accurately for verification purposes. Click on the Next button when you have finished.
Registration Page 4 - Date of Birth
This section is simply for you to enter your correct date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format. Remember, this information must match the details on your verification documents, and you must be of legal age to gamble in your country in order to Bwin to process your registration. When completed, click Next.
Registration Page 5 - Mobile Number
For this section, you need to enter your mobile phone number. You should use the international prefix code in the first box for the country where you live (again, Bwin’s geo-location software should automatically detect this for you), but if not, you can enter the code yourself. Following this, simply enter your mobile number minus the ‘0’ at the start as in the screenshot shown.
Once again, click Next when you have finished.
Registration Page 6 - Current Address
This section requires you to enter your current home address for verification purposes only. There are three pieces of information you need to enter, which include your house number and street name in the first box.
In the second, enter your City or Town and finally, in the bottom box, enter your postcode. As this information is used for verification, it is important all the data you enter here is 100% accurate. Now, click on Next to move to the final section.
Registration Page 7 - Currency & Create My Account
The final section of the sign-up process sees you decide which currency you want to play in. The default currency for your location will be shown using Bwin’s geo-location tools, so for Britain, it is GBP. You can then read through the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Age & Identity Verification policies if you so wish before you complete the process by clicking on the green “Create my account” button.
After a few seconds, and all being well with your application, your membership of Bwin should be confirmed.
4. Check & Verify your new account
Now that your account is open, it is time to check it works. Login to your Bwin account using the email and password you just created and then head to your profile by clicking on the image of the person in the top right corner. You can then verify your account by using the document uploader and by sending a scanned copy or photograph of your passport, driver’s licence or another national identity card that contains your photograph.
If your address doesn’t match that on your photo ID, you can send a bank statement or utility bill or similar from the past three months to confirm your address. Bwin will then aim to process the verification within 24 hours. If there are any issues, Bwin will contact you with details on how to resolve the problem (perhaps by submitting another piece of ID).
Once your account is verified, you can now make your qualifying deposit of at least £5 to claim the £20 Free Bet welcome bonus once you have placed a qualifying £5 bet with Bwin! Remember, there is no bonus code required to access the welcome offer! Your account is now fully open and you are now a Bwin customer!
Bwin Payment Methods
If it's time to make your first deposit at Bwin, it's essential to know which Payment Methods the site accepts. The first thing to note is that payment methods available do vary from location to location. In the UK, where we compiled our review, there are four different payment methods available. They are Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard and Maestro), Instant Bank Payments, paysafecard and PayPal.
In time, if you receive a free bet offer or other promo code from Bwin, then you can enter the 12 digit code in the PromoCode payment method section to claim your free bet. On the negative side, there is a limited choice of payment methods, and the absence of cryptocurrency options is a notable omission.
However, with no fees for deposits or withdrawals and deposits starting at just £5 (£10 for PayPal), combined with relatively quick withdrawal processing and instant deposits, Bwin covers all major banking options for most customers.

Review of the Bwin website
Now that you know how to sign up and deposit, let’s now take a closer look at what the Bwin website has to offer.
There are lots of positives to note about the site, in particular its design and user-friendliness. Bets are markets are where you would expect them to be and it is quick and easy to navigate across the site from one sport to another and one market to the next.
The main betting markets are prominently placed and the offers available are displayed well and easy to note. Navigating via the A-Z list, or through the scrolling menus are equally as easy as the other. Placing a bet is simple. Just click on the odds, add your stake and click the button to place your bet. Quick and easy, which is particularly beneficial if you are In-Play betting when timing can be crucial.
We loved how the improved Bwin site now works and how intuitive it was and we also found equally impressive results when we reviewed the Bwin app too!
Why download the Bwin app?
Betting via mobile is important for many people nowadays and while Bwin does allow you to access its website on mobile devices, using a dedicated app is usually a better and smoother option. Bwin has a range of apps for its different sites and they are uniformly well designed, user-friendly, intuitive and surprisingly easy to access, even on smaller-screened devices such as mobile phones.
Apps are available in Android and iOS formats and from within each app, you can access all the same bets and offers that you find on the main website.
In the past, Bwin’s apps received, and deserved, a fair bit of criticism for being glitchy. However, these improved apps are now far smoother and offer the user a far better service on their mobile. We would highly recommend using these apps on your chosen device.
How do I download the Bwin app for Android?
You have two options available to you to download the Bwin app for Android devices. In both these cases, it makes sense to sign up with Bwin by following this link before you download the app.
Once your registration is complete, you can then download the Android App in either of the following ways.

- Search for the Bet365 APK file on your device - This is the file that has downloaded onto your device. Click on it to begin the installation onto your device.
- Open the Bwin App - When installed, click on the icon to open the app.
Via the Bwin website
Load up the Android App download page at the Bwin website. Follow the link to access the page directly from here.
- Go to Settings. On your device click on settings.
- Click on Security. Open the Security option.

- Click OK - This will allow you to download the app.
- Click the Download Here button. The app will now install to your device.
Either of these options will allow you to easily access and install the Android app on your mobile device.
How do I download the Bwin app for iOS?
If you have an Apple device, here’s how to download the latest Bwin app onto your device.
- Sign Up with Bwin - If you are not already a customer, head to Bwin by following this link to create your account.
- On your device, click on the App Store - Once your Bwin account is created, head to the App Store.

Both Android and iOS versions of the App are excellent and will certainly appeal for users seeking to access Bwin via mobile or tablet.
Our in-depth look at Bwin’s Sports Betting Service
Bwin offers an extensive range of sports betting options across a wide variety of sports (and some non-sporting events). Of course, popular sports such as football, basketball, tennis, golf, rugby are all available, but you can also find the likes of Chess, skiing and badminton amongst many options.
Let’s now take a closer look at the betting options for sports fans at Bwin.
Sports Open to Online Betting at Bwin
Our analysis of Bwin revealed that there are around 40 different sports you can pick from on the site. They include:
Football Tennis Basketball Rugby American Football Baseball Handball Volleyball Ice Hockey Motorsports Golf Horse Racing Cricket Formula 1 Cycling Olympic Games Rugby League Futsal Table tennis Badminton Beach Volley Beach Soccer Boxing Darts Greyhounds NASCAR Snooker Alpine Skiing Biathlon Cross-country skiing Ski Jumping Water Polo Lacrosse Floorball Bandy
It is important to note that the list is not exhaustive and from time to time, you may find other sports available on the list, especially if there is a major event in that sport taking place in your location.
You can find out lots more about the different sports betting options available at Bwin by visiting the Bwin website.
Competitions open to betting at Bwin
Bwin offers a wide range of betting options across major competitions, including top football leagues like the Premier League, Champions League, and La Liga. You can also bet on tennis Grand Slams, NBA games, golf majors, and even entertainment events like Eurovision. With both pre-match and live betting available, Bwin covers a broad spectrum of popular global events.
Types of bets available
One of the areas we found that Bwin excels is in the sheer wealth of betting options it has available, especially across its main sports offerings. That is great news for a punter looking for a bet that is perhaps a little more unusual than standard betting markets.
Whether you want each-way betting, accumulators, full cover bets, Bet Builder options, or handicap betting, you will be able to find all this and more at Bwin. It is impossible to list every type of bet you can find for the three top sports at Bwin, but we have listed ten of the more popular betting options you can find for soccer, tennis and basketball below.
Soccer Bets | Tennis Bets | Basketball bets |
---|---|---|
Full Time Result | Match Winner | Over/Under points |
Correct Score | Match Score | Money Line |
Double chance 1x2 | Games won over/under | Spread |
Total Goals over/under | Match Handicap (games) | 1st Quarter winner |
Both teamsto score | Total Games | 1st Half winner |
Result & Both Teams to score | Total sets | Player points |
HT/FT | First set winner | Player assists |
Asian Handicap result | Total games in first set | Player rebounds |
Total corners | Number of double faults | Match result & total points |
First/Last/Anytime goalscorer | Number of aces | Match winning margin |
Remember, you can use Bwin’s Build A Bet service to combine many of the markets shown above into your own personalised multiple-selection bet.
Outright betting at Bwin
Betting on who will win the Premier League, the next Grand Slam in tennis or the NBA Finals in Basketball is always popular and Bwin offers a wealth of outright betting on these markets, and many more. As well as backing the winner of a tournament, you can also place bets on finishing positions, how far a team will go before being eliminated, whether a team will be relegated and much more.
Given the wealth of options for outright betting at Bwin, we think that this is one of its strongest suits compared to other bookmakers with a good selection of markets across a wide range of sports and tournaments.
Special Bets
Alongside the extensive sports betting options available with Bwin, the site also offers a number of other specialist betting markets, all of which add a nice variety for its customers. Popular non-sports options include betting on the outcome of the Eurovision Song Contest as well as betting on top awards ceremonies.
The Politics section has a number of markets based on major elections in many countries around the world such as Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, many countries in Europe and even the New York City mayoral election.
We were delighted to see a number of Donald Trump specials on offer at Bwin too, which includes betting on when he will be replaced as president, whether he will be impeached before January 2029, or if he will be TIME Person of the Year again before 2029.
Odds offered on Bwin
At Wincomparator, we know that the value of a bookmaker is generally measured by more than just its promotions and offers. Odds play a key role and we always like to assess how well a bookmaking site does when its odds are compared with others.
Unfortunately for Bwin, its odds are a bit of a mixed bag and while they generally fall at around the middle of the road in terms of odds offered, they don’t quite offer the same value as some of the other big names in the betting industry.
You can see from the above screenshots that Bwin’s odds compared to two rivals (Unibet and Vbet) are very similar across all the markets shown for all three bookmakers. There are some slight differences, but none so great as to make you feel that Bwin offers better value than the others. We compiled this test in the summer and found similar odds across the full range of sports at Bwin.
So in or view, the odds at Bwin are certainly decent enough, but not perhaps the best value you can find, unless your bet is one selected for one of the numerous Odds Boost promotions.
Close-up of Bwin’s football offer
Football betting is a significant part of any top betting sites offering, especially given its huge popularity with customers. As such, we felt it prudent to take a closer look at what Bwin offers for its football coverage. Here’s what we discovered:
- Extensive and Prominent Coverage - Football is very much front and centre at Bwin, both in terms of pre-match betting and also in-play betting. The site offers coverage of a wealth of tournaments at both club and international level from all over the globe that covers youth, semi-professional, professional and women’s tournaments.
- Dedicated Acca Boost Promotion - Bwin do not have many promotions available, but they do for football fans in the shape of their acca boost, which offers boosted returns on football bets that qualify for the offer.
- Extensive Football Betting Markets - If you love football betting, you will likely enjoy the wealth of markets available. Bwin certainly has these covered, with all the major betting markets, full-time results, anytime/first/last goalscorer, both teams to score, and more, available, as well as a host of less well-known markets that offer a good variety for any football fan.
- Regular Price Boosts - As football is a key market for Bwin, they regularly offer price boosts on a wide range of fixtures and markets.
- Build A Bet options - The Build A Bet option is regularly available across a broad number of football matches throughout the year.
Looking at Bwin’s coverage of football, we feel that the site offers almost everything for the football fan. We say almost as we’d like to see a few more offers (not just for football, but for other sports too) and perhaps some better value odds alongside the boosted prices.
Esports betting at Bwin
If you are looking for esports betting at Bwin, then the good news is that our review found the site has a well-established esports betting service that encompasses pre-match, outright, in-play betting markets as well as extensive live streaming options across a small number of top ranked esports.
Currently, the site offers esports betting on
- CS2
- League of Legends
- Dota 2
- eSoccer
That is not as extensive a list as is available with some of Bwin’s main rivals, so if esports betting is a prime consideration for you, then it should be noted that some other sites, such as bet365, have a more extensive esports betting service.
Bwin Live - What is Bwin’s Live Betting range?
With most betting sites seeing a significant number of live bets making up their overall revenue, it is important that our review of Bwin takes in what they offer as part of their Live Betting service.
On opening this part of the site, the user will be met with an intuitive design. Current events taking place are foremost, and can easily be navigated from one sport to the next and also from one match or game to another in a specific sport.
This is supported by a data analysis of the event which shows the current statistics for a number of key markets for that particular sports event. In some cases, you may also be able to follow a Live Stream of the event, provided you have a funded account. Alongside the events available at the time, there is also a schedule which shows a list of other live streaming events, while you can click on individual sports to discover what the schedule is for live betting events for each.
With a wealth of sports available for live betting, a wide range of markets and an improving range of live streams to follow, we have to admit that Bwin’s live betting service has markedly improved over the years and will now meet the requirements for almost any punter.
Features and Services available at Bwin
One of the most appealing aspects of Bwin’s sports betting service is the wide range of options available to customers as part of the offering.
We have outlined four of the main features that will be of significant interest to users that are focused on sports betting with Bwin website, while we have also outlined some of the other non-sports betting options available on the site at the foot of this list that are equally noteworthy.
Live Streaming
As previously mentioned, Bwin does offer its customers an excellent Live Streaming service as part of its Live Betting section.
Streaming options include a variety of football matches from competitions across the globe, tennis, darts, basketball and an extensive selection of esports live streams including major titles such as CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, eSoccer and more.
The Live Streams are seamlessly integrated into the Live Betting portal, which allows not only excellent viewing on whatever device you connect with, but easy betting opportunities too. And with many thousands of live streams available every month, you are never short of options at Bwin.
It should be noted though that due to licensing restrictions, not all live streams may be available in every country.
Cash Out
Another important option for sports betting enthusiasts is the option for some bets you make to be cashed out ahead of the bet being concluded. As is the case with all other bookmakers that offer cash out, not all bets with Bwin can be cashed out, but those that are eligible will be shown in your bet history, together with a cash out amount available for you to take should you wish to cash out the bet.
At present, Bwin only offers the full cash-out option on selected bets.
Price Boosts
Value is essential for all punters on a website, and Bwin have an excellent way for punters to get added value on selected bets every day. That is achieved through its extensive range of price boosts.
Each day, selected markets across a wide range of popular sports have their odds boosted by Bwin to offer customers better value on those bets. Simply add the increased price to your bet slip, place the bet, and if your selection wins, you are paid out at the boosted price.
Build A Bet
Bwin has not been slow to adopt its own range of Build a Bet options. With this option, customers can select a variety of betting markets from a specific sporting event to create their own multiple selection bet, such as an accumulator.
By adding selections to your Build a Bet slip, the odds on the bet will increase. For example, in a football match, you could select the winner of the game, that both teams will score, that a named player will score at any time and that there will be over six bookings in the match.
With this option available across various sports and a range of markets for each fixture, you can create a multitude of betting combinations at Bwin to place the exact bet you want. Usefully, Bwin highlights the Build a Bet feature on available markets, and they can be spotted readily on the site. We recommend that you check them out as a new user.
Bwin’s Other Gaming Ranges
Alongside its extensive sports betting service, Bwin also offers customers a choice of other gaming options including an extensive Casino (with a dedicated Live Casino), a Poker gaming service and a dedicated section for a wide range of Virtual Sports.
Your single log in gives you access to all these other gaming ranges and you can use the same balance for sports betting, casino gaming, poker and virtual sports, which is convenient and makes the whole site more accessible.
Bwin offers an extensive range of casino games, including exclusive titles, as well as table games, crash games and jackpot games. With equally extensive options for poker and virtual sports fans, plus a number of poker promotions offering particularly good value on that part of the site, it is a great idea to at least check out what other options are available to you as a new Bwin customer.
Bwin Support - Our opinion on customer service at Bwin
We consider having excellent quality and accessible customer service a fundamental for any good sports betting service, so how did we find Bwin did when it comes to our queries and questions?
First, the positives. There are three main support sections on the site. The first stop is the Help section, which is extensive and contains answers to many of the common, and several not-so-common queries that people may have about the site.
This is a positive as it means that many common queries can be resolved without having to contact customer services directly. However, if you need further support, you can contact Bwin via two other means:
- Live Chat (available 24/7)
- Email (24-hour response)
Unfortunately, we did have a somewhat disappointing experience when we used the Live Chat service. We asked if Bwin accepted Goliath bets, expecting a simple yes or no answer. However, once you get past the initial bot and speak to a human, it took a several further minutes before the answer was forthcoming.
In total, it took over five minutes to get an answer to what was a simple yes or no question. Although, when eventually answered, the information given was extensive. Email responses took just a few hours, considerably less than the 24-hour response time, but this is likely to increase during busier times on the site.
So while customer services at Bwin are generally solid, there are aspects where the site could make significant improvements, notably in it’s Live Chat service.
Security: Is Bwin reliable?
Our extensive review of Bwin also considered how reliable and secure the site was and on both of these key factors, we are more than happy to give the site full marks across the board.
Bwin is available across many countries and has an especially strong following in Europe. It sponsors football giants Borussia Dortmund and Valencia and it is one of the most respected names in the global betting industry.
Part of that is the fact that site is rock solid with its security protocols, adherence to responsible gambling and is fully licensed. For example, in the UK, it operates under Gambling Commission licence number 54743.
Customer’s data is encrypted and behind a firewall ensuring the highest level of security. Combine that with user-friendly and intuitive apps and website and you can comfortably say that Bwin is both very secure and equally reliable.
Our Verdict on Bwin (reviewed in July 2025)
After reviewing Bwin in July, we are confident that if you decide to sign up with the site, you won’t be disappointed. In our considered opinion, the many positives of Bwin outweigh the few negatives and there is consistently good value to be found using options such as Boosted Odds, Bet Builder, Acca Boost and of course the welcome offer.
Poor bookmakers don’t sponsor teams like Borussia Dortmund and Valencia, and with that in mind, we’d recommend signing up with Bwin without hesitation.
