Europa Conference League Prediction 2025/26

Would you like to make a prediction for the 2025-26 UEFA Europa Conference League? If the answer is yes, then you've come to the right place! This season, Europe's third and most recently added club competition is again going to be a fascinating event and a real treat for your sports betting. After the Champions League and the Europa League, this is a great competition to bet on and we'll be supplying our readers with lots of well-researched predictions.
Based on the new model for its sister competitions introduced last year, the Conference League is organised in two phases. In the first phases, the 36 qualified teams are drawn into a single pool in a championship format. At the end of this first phase, the top 8 teams qualify for the last 16, while the next 16 qualify for the play-offs (9th to 24th place). This is where the second phase of the competition begins. The last 12 (25th to 26th place) are eliminated.
These famous play-offs pit the 16 qualified clubs against each other. The clubs knocked out of the Europa League are no longer taken into account, as there is not relegation play-offs or juggling between the three competitions anymore. At the end of two-legged ties, the clubs that win the play-offs join the teams that have already qualified as in the top 8 of the Conference League's single pool, and advance into the round of 16.
After that, it's back to the usual format, with home and away legs in the round of 16, as well as the quarter-finals and semi-finals. The grand final will be played over a single match, and is scheduled to take place in Leipzig, Germany, on 27 May 2026 for this season. Who will win the fourth edition of this latest UEFA European Football Cup? What are the best Conference League odds to try? Read our previews and then get set to make your predictions.
Europa Conference League prediction: Stats you need to know
To bet on the Europa Conference League, you need to know the key statistics for the competition. To help you make even more reliable predictions, here are the statistics you need to know about the Europa Conference League before placing your bets. There are some very interesting statistics on this competition, such as the number of goals per game (2.82). The average is not all that high compared with the other two European cups.
By the same vein, ‘over 2.5’ is only valid in 53% of matches, ‘over 3.5’ in 30% of matches and ‘over 4.5’ in only 16% of matches! As you can see, on average, it's better not to bank on a flurry of goals in this competition. Of course, depending on the opposition and with the right analysis, which you can find in our football predictions, these bets can still be tempting.
It's also worth noting that the ‘both teams to score’ bet was only placed 47% of the time, or less than half of the matches, a rare enough fact in football. This is another bet to be avoided unless a precise analysis shows otherwise. On the other hand, if you like to bet on goals, you should know that the second half is more prolific than the first (59% of goals) and that the quarter-hour with the most goals is the last, 76th-90th (23% of goals).
The number of home wins is quite interesting, and the double chance 1/X could therefore be to be preferred on this new edition of the third European Cup (51% home wins and 20% draws, i.e. 71% in total). Finally, the most frequent exact score last year was 1-0 or 0-1 (19% of matches). The odds for this type of bet will be even more attractive! You can also take advantage of the welcome bonuses if you want to bet on the matches of this 2025-2026 season.
Europa Conference League: Our free prediction for 2025-2026
After last year's early announcement by our experts that Chelsea would be crowned champions, who will win the 2025-2026 edition of the Conference League? There could well be a strong field in the single pool for this C4, but the identities of the 36 qualifiers are not yet known, as they will all have to go through qualifying rounds and play-offs to get there. No club has qualified directly.
We look forward to seeing you at the end of August with our Conference League winner's prediction, once we know who has qualified for the league phase and what each club's programme will be during that phase (draw on 29 August 2025).
